Shortlist Announcement
We are delighted to have received 25 entries from Tokyo, Hong Kong, Manila, and Taipei. After the first adjudication process through proposal reviews and an online panel meeting, twelve (12) entries have been shortlisted as finalists, and three (3) entries have been selected in the waiting list.
The finalists will present their ideas at the Pitch Presentation session on December 2, 15:00-17:00 (GMT+8) at the 2024 FACP Hong Kong Conference. You are cordially invited to sign up for the conference and witness the birth of the up-and-coming creative ideas on “Beyond Borders, Beyond Imagination— Today’s Arts Tech.”

2024 FACP ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN HONGKONG
Pitch for New Aspects — Clare C. & Friends Fellowship
The Federation for Asian Cultural Promotion (FACP) offers an exciting opportunity for young artists (under 35-year-old), young entrepreneurs, curators, and producers (under 40-year-old), and performing arts groups (founded after 2015) to share creative ideas for potential partnerships with FACP and its members. All of the shortlisted groups will receive 2 Full Passes to the 2024 FACP Annual Conference in Hong Kong and an Individual or Organizational Membership to FACP for 2025.
PRIZES
1st Prize: USD 10,000 x 1
Best Music Production/Performance Award: USD 10,000 x 1
2nd Prize: USD 5,000 x 2
FACP Members’ Choice: USD 5,000 x 1
*All prizes include tax.
1. The "1st Prize" and the "Best Music Production/Performance Award" may be withheld at the discretion of the Jury Panel.
2. The "FACP Members' Choice" can be awarded in conjunction with other prizes.
3. The winners agree to acknowledge the support of the 2024 FACP—Clare C. & Friends Fellowship Award Title in all future performance program information, including but not limited to the program websites, promotional videos, and flyers.
4. FACP reserves the right to reclaim the prizes if the winners are found to infringe on the rights or copyrights of others.
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
Creations should arise from the origin and tradition of Asian culture and focus on the following points:
1. Sustainability in production
2. Leaner, cleaner, and greener environment
3. Unlocking the human value
4. New aspects of Art Forms
5. The “Best Music Production/Performance Award” includes but is not limited to composition, singing, performance, and multidisciplinary production.
PROJECTS CAN BE SUBMITTED UNDER:
1. SEED OF AN IDEA, or WORK IN PROGRESS:
Seeking support to develop a new project.
2. READY TO CONNECT:
Seeking partners or presenters to invest in a new project that premiered in less than 18 months.
PITCH PRESENTATION FORMAT
Presentation (6 mins) & Q&A (3-5 mins), with 16:9 slides in PDF or PPT format, should encompass the following details:
(1) Concept & Scale
(2) Artists/Creatives involved
(3) Timeframe for the production (potential dates for premiere, tour, etc.)
(4) Specifics about what the presenter is seeking e.g., funds, presenting venues, collaborators.
(5) Video of the performance (1-2 mins, optional)
APPLICATION INFORMATION SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

(2) Outline & featured ideas
(3) Artist/group profile

4. Video recording of the performance submitted via Shared link (optional).
