I am saddened to read about the passing of Hsu Po-Yun! I have very fond memories of him starting with how we first met during the FACP conference in Shanghai. I was new to the organization and sitting alone over a meal. He approached me. We talked. He was pleasantly surprised that I was from the Philippines, the only one that year and the first in a while. It was not long before I started working closer and closer with him. In his ideas, interests and initiatives, I saw his genuine passion and concern for the organization.

He will certainly be missed but his legacy will live on in his music, his advocacies and the people and organizations he loved.
